Pennsic looms large, but a war for Neppie is on the horizon! Neppie, beloved mascot of the Barony of Marinus's Archery Company, was a guest of honor at Tir-y-Don's Baronial Birthday in May and has not returned home. Tir-y-Don insists that Neppie requested their indefinite stay, but Marinus is not so sure…
Bring a friend, pick a side, and join us in the final battle for custody on August 23. This event will be newcomer-friendly -- whether you're new to archery, new to the SCA, or just looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon, all are welcome!

There is no registration fee for this event, but donations are welcome. There is a $10 lunch available for purchase for those who pre-register.
LUNCHEON UPDATE: The menu for the $10 fundraiser lunch has been posted!
Please support the event by purchasing a lunch, if you are able. This fundraiser is our means of recouping costs for the event so that it can remain free to the public, and we sincerely appreciate your donation. The $10 will go a long way.
Your lunch will include:

pickles
a bread roll
your choice of dessert (cookie or brownie)

Details: Join us for an immersive shoot in the battle for Neppie. We are excited to present several different kinds of targets and challenges that will be fun for Newcomers and seasoned archers alike, including a clout shoot, timed rounds, moving targets, and more. Loaner gear will be available, and NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
Rapier Combat, led by Gabriel Leoson
Join us for interactive demos and fun fighting scenarios. If you've been wanting to try out rapier or if you're new to rapier and/or haven't won a tournament yet, this is the event for you. Loaner gear will be available, and NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

Join us for A&S demonstrations, displays, and a fun day-of A&S competition. We're excited to present wire weaving, calligraphy, creative writing, fiber arts, and more. Details about the competition will be a surprise, but there will be something for all skill levels. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
If you'd like to bring your own A&S display, please let us know in advance so that we can be sure we have space available.
